Field Sales Representative at Tripadvisor in Leeds

Job description

• We are looking for the next Field Sales Representative to join our fantastic UK Team.

Responsibilities

• Manage your assigned sales pipeline and carry out active prospecting (cold calls, walk-in visits and face-to-face meetings) in Leeds and the surrounding area (York, Newcastle upon Tyne).
• Select restaurants within your territory based on marketing recommendations to proactively plan and organize your daily/weekly schedule.
• Effectively and professionally represent our brand and its values (‘better together’, ‘ownership’, ‘growth’, ‘respect’).
• Explain to restaurant owners and managers the opportunities, features and benefits of TheFork Manager for managing their business.
• Maintain ongoing contact with clients until the partnership is finalized and ensure the restaurant is successfully listed online, whilst maintaining good communication with the other teams involved in the sale.
• Adapt the engagement strategy to understand the needs of each restaurant, add value to their business plans and build long-term relationships.
• Achieve monthly and/or quarterly sales targets with a weekly breakdown aligned with sales cycles.
• Collaborate with the sales operations, supplier support and account management teams to ensure a smooth and efficient sales cycle.
• Demonstrate determination, dynamism and resilience in the face of day-to-day challenges to achieve the required productivity targets.
• Understand the B2B value chain and engage with the various stakeholders
• This role will require to be in the field 2 or 3 per week. You will also travel to our London offices once per month (travel expenses covered by the company).

Requirements

• Demonstrated track record/experience in B2B sales in hospitality, preferably in both an online and face-to-face setting.
• Experience in territory management and pipeline management using Salesforce or another CRM tool.
• You must have a valid UK driving license and your own car.
• Strong communication skills applied to sales, negotiation and closing deals.
• A results-driven ‘hunter’ profile, with a constant drive to attract new clients and engage in cold calling.
• Proactive and self-reliant, with the ability to drive initiatives forward without constant supervision.
• A self-assured, dynamic, flexible and organized individual, capable of working successfully in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
