Job description

• The Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for ensuring every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and a positive Consumer, Merchant and Dasher experience. Dasher & Logistics owns initiatives that touch all parts of the Dasher life cycle ranging from supply & demand, to cost & quality, to Dasher pay, to Dasher retention, to order batching and beyond. We care about metrics like delivery times, cost per order, delivery quality, dasher compensation, and many more!
• We are hiring an Associate Manager to help lead strategy and execution for our Dasher & Logistics regulatory markets, the growing set of cities, states, and countries where Dasher pay, benefits, and working conditions are shaped by minimum earnings guarantees, pay transparency requirements, and other logistics specific regulation. You'll own a portfolio of KRs across some of our highest priority business problems by getting into the weeds to understand what's happening on the ground, using data and customer insights to identify opportunities, developing and testing hypotheses, and partnering cross-functionally to bring solutions to life at scale. You will report directly to a Senior Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of KRs across our regulatory markets, setting the strategy and building the execution plan to hit your goals
• Use a data-driven approach to investigate problems, creating insightful analysis from a combination of quantitative and qualitative information, and implement next steps
• Operate at the lowest level of detail in order to build strong foundational knowledge of your problem space and provide recommendations for leadership
• Define and test hypotheses through experimentation, leverage AI to accelerate learnings, and scale successful strategies across the org
• Work cross-functionally across multiple teams to drive alignment and impact, such as Legal, Public Policy, Product, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing
• Develop new skills and advance your career, with opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities as you progress in your role

Requirements

• You have 5-7 years of experience in startups, strategy, consulting, financial services, operations, technology, AI, regulatory, or related experience
• You are able to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions and balance quantitative measurement with an empathetic, intuition-based mindset. You can crunch data in SQL/excel independently and are comfortable owning ambiguous, fast-moving problems with legal and financial stakes
• You actively look for ways AI can make your work better, using tools like Claude or Cursor to move faster from data to decision
• You focus on getting stuff done and aren’t afraid to get into the details. No job is beneath you and you lead from the front and with optimism
• You love thinking about problems from a first principles approach, and you aren't afraid to take action and try new things in order to create the future, while knowing when to bring in the right partners on higher-stakes decisions
• You are able to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization and get alignment
• You have experience managing cross-functional workstreams or a strong desire to grow into that responsibility
• You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field

• The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
• The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
• $87,000 - $128,000 USD
