Job description
- The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a working Site Lead responsible for the safe, efficient operation of equipment within assigned specialty. Acts as Site Supervisor, directly overseeing three (3) or more personnel. Ensures effective coordination, scheduling, and daily execution of assigned work. In addition, support a variety of Program Management Office (PMO) functions including regional support beyond their designated site.
Responsibilities
- Beyond site-specific responsibilities, the position supports a variety of Program Management Office (PMO) functions, including regional support efforts outside of the assigned location. These duties may include production control, deliverable submission, personnel training, and coordination with other operational sites. Travel to alternate locations may be required to fulfill these responsibilities.
- The Site Lead oversees and manages production and operational data to support PMO requirements. Responsibilities include compiling and maintaining records related to production volume, material consumption, quality control, labor utilization, and other operational metrics. The role requires analyzing production data obtained from customer work orders, product specifications, and individual employee production records. Using established procedures and automated data processing systems, the Site Lead calculates workloads, labor hours, material usage, and associated costs, ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Additional duties include preparing reports, maintaining production records, developing work tickets, and interpreting customer work orders and specifications to provide maintenance personnel with clear guidance for performing required services. The individual ensures that documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with organizational standards.
- For Government Purchase Card (GPC) activities, the Site Lead is responsible for validating Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, receiving and managing GPC transactions, establishing billing actions, creating and tracking work orders, and monitoring projects through completion and final billing closeout.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor production of work to ensure timely and quality completion
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment and adherence to safety protocols
- Provide emergency notification to appropriate supervisory personnel as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience overseeing multi-trade teams and work order systems (e.g., CMMS/Maximo) in a government or Base Operations Support contract environment.
- Journeyman’s license required depending on technical trades support required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with work order systems such as Maximo preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to travel to neighboring project site locations.
- Must hold and maintain a Tier 5 background check (Top Secret / SCI Clearance), as required for the position.
- Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record, in accordance with company policy, to operate vehicles or equipment as required for the position.
