Responsibilities

• Join our team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality work in a collaborative environment. Hodgson Russ LLP, a regional law firm with 230+ attorneys in 10 offices, is seeking a Real Estate & Finance Paralegal to join our busy Real Estate & Finance team, resident in our Buffalo office. You’ll be responsible for the administration of, and support related to, commercial finance and real estate transactional closings, including complex acquisitions, dispositions, and secured lending transactions. This includes preparing and reviewing deed packages, surveys, title documents/curatives, loan documentation, UCC financing statements and lien searches, closing checklists, and coordinating with title companies on policies and endorsements.

Requirements

• To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to meet deadlines and focus on details. A bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of three years in a transactional paralegal role.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position, if the successful applicant is based in Buffalo is $58,000 to $71,200. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
