Job description

• The Global Partnerships organization works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences across advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more.
• The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business-critical insights using analytics and helps teams drive partnerships forward. We stay focused on aligning company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and help evolve early-stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
• In this role, you will cover Strategy and Operations for Search and work closely with the lead for Gemini App and GenAI Partnerships to ensure a cohesive approach across the organization. You will partner directly with Knowledge and Information Partnerships (K&IP) leaders to deliver the operational expertise and executive-level narratives needed to help the global organization plan and execute its highest priorities in support of Google’s product mission. You will work in collaboration with partnerships and other cross-functional teams like Product Management/Engineering (PM/Eng), Product Operations (ProdOps), and Finance.
• Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
• US: $234000 - $325000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Partner with VPs, Directors, and managers to develop the search partnerships and ecosystem strategy, growth drivers, and business plan, becoming an integral part of the leadership team and trusted advisor to the Search Partnership Directors.
• Drive and shape perspective on how Search Partnerships should evolve strategy and Go-to-Market (GTM) given Search product evolution and external market dynamics.
• Identify specific product, partner, and ecosystem opportunities to deliver against product area goals and support growth objectives.
• Shape how we operate the business, how we interface with cross-functional and regional teams, and how we organize around impact.
• Lead a high-performing strategy team, foster excellent team norms, support the professional development of each team member, and build a trusted advisor relationship with critical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, partnerships, or corporate advisory.
• 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
• Experience in people or team management.
• 13 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, partnerships or corporate advisory experience.
• Deep expertise in multiple critical business areas, with a strong understanding of the broader industry and engaged landscape.
• Extensive experience leading and managing high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and high performance, with a proven ability to develop and inspire talent.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to influence direction and strategy at the executive level.
• Proven track record of owning decision-making and execution for large, complex projects across multiple teams and business/product areas.
