- As a Specialized Account Executive, you will develop and close SaaS and hybrid SaaS opportunities with existing customers and new prospects. You will connect customer priorities with Siemens solutions, manage the sales cycle, and generate new and expansion revenue.
Responsibilities
- Account Planning and Prospecting
- Develop account and territory plans aligned with revenue targets.
- Prioritize prospects and customers based on their needs and growth potential.
- Build a pipeline through outbound prospecting, social selling, campaigns, and collaboration with internal teams and partners.
- Work with Account Orchestrators to coordinate account strategies and go-to-market activities.
- Customer Discovery and Solution Selling
- Research target organizations and identify decision-makers, influencers, and business priorities.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand customer requirements, expected outcomes, and potential barriers.
- Position Siemens solutions based on business value, solution fit, and encouraged return on investment.
- Deliver presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Opportunity Management and Closing
- Handle opportunities from initial engagement through negotiation and closing.
- Prepare software license quotations, proposals, contracts, and responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Coordinate with Product, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, and other internal teams throughout the sales process.
- Support a smooth transition to Customer Success after closing.
- Forecasting and Collaboration
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast information in Salesforce.
- Monitor deal progress, expected close dates, values, risks, and conversion rates.
- Share relevant customer and market insights during business reviews and sales meetings.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Customer Support, and Renewal Sales to identify renewal and expansion opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in consultative B2B software sales, including developing opportunities and closing business.
- Experience selling SaaS, subscription-based, or hybrid software solutions.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Experience managing pipelines and forecasts using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams.
- Experience selling software or technology solutions to manufacturing or industrial customers.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, industrial software, or manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
- A degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- The pay range for this position is 110,900 - $221,800 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
