• The ANZ Social Media & Content Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of social media content for the Australia & New Zealand region. This role helps manage the ANZ social media marketing calendar, ensuring regional product launches, campaigns, collaborations, retail activations, creator partnerships, and cultural moments are supported across social channels.
• Working closely with the Global Social Media Manager, ANZ Brand Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Retail, Content Production, and Influencer Marketing teams, this role helps translate regional go-to-market (GTM) priorities into clear social content requirements. The ANZ Social Media & Content Specialist will support regional GTM checkpoints for social media, help brief content needs to creative teams, and ensure regional priorities are reflected in content planning and execution.
• This is a hands-on, executional role that requires strong organization, cultural awareness, content creation skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day social activity. The ideal candidate understands the ANZ consumer, is highly connected to fashion, street culture, music, sports, and internet culture, and can help bring Culture Kings to life through social-first storytelling.
• This role reports to the Global Social Media Manager and works closely with the ANZ Brand Marketing team.

Responsibilities

• ANZ Social Media Calendar Support
• Support ownership and day-to-day management of the ANZ social media marketing calendar.
• Help maintain the regional social calendar across product launches, campaigns, collaborations, retail activations, events, and cultural moments.
• Ensure social content plans are aligned with the broader ANZ marketing calendar and campaign timelines.
• Track key launch dates, asset needs, posting schedules, and campaign priorities.
• Identify regional content opportunities that support ANZ business and brand objectives.
• Regional GTM & Creative Briefing Support
• Support ANZ social media checkpoints throughout the regional go-to-market process.
• Help translate regional campaign priorities into clear social content requirements.
• Partner with the Global Social Media Manager and ANZ Brand Marketing team to brief creative teams on ANZ social content needs.
• Support the development of content briefs, shot lists, asset requests, and platform-specific deliverables.
• Help ensure creative assets are delivered on time and aligned with regional market needs.
• Communicate content gaps, timing needs, and regional priorities to the appropriate teams.
• Content Planning & Creation
• Create and support social-first content aligned with brand strategy, content pillars, and campaign objectives.
• Capture photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, Reels, Threads, and emerging platforms.
• Support behind-the-scenes content capture during campaigns, photoshoots, retail activations, creator visits, product launches, and events.
• Edit and package content for social distribution across key platforms.
• Assist with content organization, asset management, and campaign folders to ensure teams have access to the right materials.
• Social Media Execution
• Support day-to-day execution of ANZ social media channels.
• Schedule, publish, and maintain content across social platforms.
• Ensure content is posted accurately, on time, and aligned with campaign calendars.
• Maintain consistency in brand voice, creative standards, and platform best practices.
• Support publishing priorities across multiple launches, campaigns, and activations.
• Community Management
• Manage day-to-day engagement across ANZ social channels, including comments, DMs, mentions, and community interactions.
• Help foster meaningful engagement with Culture Kings customers, fans, creators, and community members.
• Identify opportunities to engage with trending conversations, user-generated content, and creator content.
• Escalate customer service, product, or brand reputation concerns when needed.
• Support brand affinity through consistent and authentic community interaction.
• Retail, Events & Activation Support
• Support social coverage for ANZ retail activations, store openings, in-store events, pop-ups, creator partnerships, athlete appearances, and community initiatives.
• Capture and distribute real-time content during key brand moments.
• Help amplify retail and experiential marketing efforts through social storytelling.
• Support content needs before, during, and after ANZ events and activations.
• Trend Identification & Cultural Awareness
• Monitor emerging social trends, platform updates, viral formats, creators, and cultural conversations.
• Bring fresh content ideas and platform opportunities to the Global Social Media Manager and broader marketing team.
• Stay connected to ANZ fashion, street culture, music, sports, entertainment, and youth culture.
• Help identify culturally relevant moments that Culture Kings can participate in authentically.
• Reporting & Organization
• Support social reporting through content tracking and performance monitoring.
• Assist in maintaining content calendars, publishing schedules, campaign trackers, and asset libraries.
• Monitor content performance, audience engagement, and platform trends.
• Provide insights and observations to support ongoing content optimization.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or a related field.
• Experience supporting social media for a fashion, street culture, lifestyle, retail, sports, music, or youth-focused brand preferred.
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Stories, Reels, and emerging platforms.
• Experience shooting and editing content using mobile devices and social-first tools.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling, reporting, and content management platforms.
• Experience supporting campaign calendars, asset requests, or creative briefing processes preferred.
