• The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, sales data, and operational performance to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making. This role plays a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing business processes, and enhancing profitability within the company.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data, customer demographics, and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges within the medical supply business.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing key performance metrics, sales forecasts, and market share analysis.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, product gaps, and competitive threats to inform business strategy and decision-making.
• Analyze financial statements, budget variances, and profitability metrics to assess the financial health and performance of the medical supply division.
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process improvement.
• Recommend and implement solutions to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation.
• Provide analytical support and insights to senior leadership to inform strategic planning, business development, and investment decisions.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessment to evaluate potential outcomes and mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in the healthcare or medical supply industry.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience working with business intelligence software and database management systems, SQL Scripting, Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, regulations, and reimbursement models.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must possess and maintain any and all necessary active and unencumbered certifications, degrees, or licenses in the necessary state, to the extent the position requires such certifications, degrees, or licenses.
• Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
