Responsibilities
- The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and manager.
- Provides high quality customer service.
- Answers all incoming calls in a prompt and efficient manner and directs them to the appropriate staff member or department.
- Ensures immediate attention to all visitors entering the facility.
- Schedules and logs clients in EHR.
- Collects, records, and makes deposits according to Livengrin policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patients and patient related information.
- Maintains fiscal and statistical records.
- Inputs computer information including posting of daily activities, billing, and CIS information.
- Types correspondences, psychosocial histories, discharge summaries and reports.
- Takes staff meeting minutes, as required.
- Files paperwork and mails correspondences.
- Completes inventories and orders office supplies.
- Maintains office cleanliness.
- Communicates with building maintenance, when needed.
- Operates office equipment.
- Performs other related duties as may be required or as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- At least one year experience in a secretarial position, preferably in a health care setting.
- Familiar with confidentiality rules and regulations.
- The schedule for this position is Monday to Thursday from 4:00PM to 9:00PM.
