• CommQuest Services, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Controller for the Finance department. The Controller is responsible for the technical day-to-day finance operations of the agency budget and supervision of the Accounting Team, ensures that financial systems and procedures are in place to support effective program implementation and conduct flawless audits, and will work closely with program leaders and their staff to assist and educate them regarding finance and accounting procedures.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, general ledger maintenance, and the month-end/year-end close processes.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate annual budget creation, monitor budget variances, analyze cash flow, and generate financial projections.
• Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and document business processes and internal controls to minimize financial risk and support internal/external audits.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred.
• 3-5 years of proven accounting experience, previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge and experience in budgeting, computerized systems, financial reporting, accounting theory and practice, asset management, and supervision of accounting and financial management personnel and processes.
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred.
• Non-Profit, Healthcare, and Grant experience preferred.
• Previous experience with NextGen and/or other electronic health record systems is a plus!
