• Federated Co-ops, inc. is looking for a hands-on Custom Applicator Manager / Agriculture Equipment Logistics to work out of our Osceola WI location! As the Custom Applicator Manager / Agriculture Equipment Logistics, you will help lead our custom application team and help keep our equipment, facilities, and field operations running safely and efficiently.
• This role is ideal for an experienced agronomy / agriculture professional, lead custom applicator, or a lead agricultural equipment operator who enjoys working alongside a team, operating and maintaining equipment, and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Custom Applicator Manager / Agriculture Equipment Logistics include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Supervise and dispatch custom applicator team and commercial drivers
• Ensure staff properly use and maintain equipment and building maintenance
• Works with customers, take and create work orders
• Accurately maintain field mapping database
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of custom applicators and commercial drivers
• Set up and calibrate equipment to be used in the field
• Follows and oversees employees comply with all safety rules and regulations
• Help maintain a positive attitude and work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, communication and customer service
• Must be able to work longer hours when necessary, specifically during the Spring and Summer busy season

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain
• Valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator License or ability to obtain
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements or ability to obtain
• Working knowledge of all agronomy equipment with the ability to perform routine maintenance
• Must comprehend basic measurements and calculations for calibration (gallons per acre, and acres per tank)

Skills

Required

• Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain
