Responsibilities

• Manage, assess, and investigate privacy incidents and recommend appropriate outcomes and next steps
• Conduct privacy incident risk assessments and determine incident severity
• Review incident records, supporting documentation, evidence, notifications, and regulatory submissions for completeness and accuracy
• Validate compliance with regulatory and contractual reporting requirements
• Support privacy incident audits and audit-readiness activities
• Conduct privacy walkthroughs and document security violations, findings, and corrective actions
• Review internal access controls and provisioning for high-risk data
• Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and review of privacy policies, procedures, training, and compliance programs
• Communicate privacy requirements and guidance to employees and privacy advocates
• Participate in project planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring
• Analyze incident data, identify gaps, reconcile records, and prepare reports
• Create and maintain project documentation, including memos, training materials, executive summaries, and presentations
• Provide privacy-related training and guidance to stakeholders
• Support Information Governance and Information Security projects as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in managed care/health insurance, a related field, or project management in a fast-paced environment
• Experience reviewing, auditing, or investigating privacy, compliance, security, or operational incidents
• Experience working with regulated data environments, such as HIPAA, PHI, PII, or healthcare regulatory requirements
• Experience validating documentation, maintaining audit evidence, and supporting compliance audits
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs
• Experience with privacy compliance programs, regulatory audits, or breach assessments
• Relevant certifications in privacy or compliance
