Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Automation operations team, including direct and indirect reports.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance through strong HSE leadership.
- Ensure client satisfaction through efficient service delivery and operational excellence.
- Oversee shop, yard, and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material management.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, margins, cost control, and full P&L responsibility.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align operations with market demand and drive business growth.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop leadership capabilities within the team through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with 8+ years of experience in electrical automation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience in operations coordination, sales integration, and financial performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of rod lift systems, SCADA systems, radio/telemetry, and Modbus communication protocols.
- Proven leadership and management experience in automation, controls, or instrumentation.
