- The position is responsible for growing applications and profitability at existing accounts as well as new business development in the region and supporting value improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Implement department strategic plan in district
- Develop and manage sales pipeline
- Grow business with existing customers
- Corporate Account Management
- Conduct regular corporate customer reviews
- Manage corporate account profitability
- Initiate and conduct return on investment (ROI) projects
- Implement customer management & service plan
Requirements
- Demonstrates safe work practices and can identify hazards
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems and solutions
- Verbal communication, customer relations

- Ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
- Able to prioritise and manage own workload with minimal supervision
- Able to be flexible with work arrangements and can travel if and when required, this will be by exception and not the norm
- Current drivers licence
- Experience with boilers, cooling towers and mining
- Mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience in a sales/service and account management role (preferred)
- Degree in chemistry/science or over 3 years’ experience in the water treatment and chemical industry required.
