Job description

• We are looking for a Bilingual Business Development Operations Associate to support our growing commercial team and help deliver a seamless experience for our customers.
• In this role, you will work closely with our operations, business development/marketing, and internal technical teams to support customer requests, prepare data samples and other sales materials, and help move opportunities efficiently from initial conversation through the sales process.
• The ideal candidate is intelligent, highly organized, technically curious, and can communicate comfortably with both English and Mandarin-speaking clients. You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should have enough technical understanding to quickly learn our products, data offerings, and customer use cases.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to the sales team, helping ensure customer requests and internal follow-ups are handled quickly and accurately.
• Customer Requests: Coordinate and respond to customer requests for data samples, product information, technical materials, and other sales resources.
• Data & Sample Preparation: Work with internal technical and operations teams to identify, organize, and prepare relevant data samples based on customer requirements.
• Sales Materials: Help prepare presentations, proposals, data samples, product materials, and other resources used throughout the sales process.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with data, engineering, business development/marketing, and operations teams to gather information and ensure customer requests are addressed efficiently.
• Sales Process Support: Help maintain accurate customer and opportunity information, track follow-ups, and support the sales team throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Customer Communication: Communicate with customers in both English and Mandarin as needed, particularly when coordinating data requests and sharing product or technical information.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to make sales workflows, customer requests, and internal coordination more efficient as the company scales.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in sales operations, sales support, business operations, customer success, technical support, or a related role. Strong candidates with relevant internship or academic experience may also be considered.
• Technical aptitude: Comfortable learning technical products and concepts related to AI, machine learning, robotics, data, or autonomous driving.
• Bilingual communication: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong execution: Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and able to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Problem-solving: Resourceful and able to quickly find information, coordinate with the right teams, and independently resolve routine customer requests.
• Communication: Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external customers in a professional setting.
• Learning agility: Curious, intelligent, and eager to learn in a rapidly evolving technological environment.
• Experience working in AI, robotics, autonomous driving, data services, or another technical industry.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, datasets, data annotation, or data pipelines.
• Experience preparing or managing data samples, technical documentation, presentations, or customer-facing materials.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales or working with B2B customers.
• Basic familiarity with tools such as Excel/Google Sheets, CRM platforms, SQL, or Python.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
