• Apps Developer – AI Agents + SQL + .NET – State Agency – $67/hr W2 – Phoenix Hybrid – 6 Months
• SunSoftOnline is hiring an Applications Developer (SQL / .NET / AI Agent Developer) for an Arizona state agency.

Responsibilities

• The work: designing, developing, and optimizing complex Azure SQL databases. Leading database projects and troubleshooting performance issues. Building and maintaining AI agents: autonomous, multi-agent systems that reason, plan, execute tasks, and collaborate with other systems and humans, including prompt engineering and RAG pipelines. Maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure App Services and C# .NET applications. Data warehousing and ETL. Mentoring junior developers. Writing technical documentation.

Requirements

• SQL - Azure SQL and SQL Server, advanced query writing and optimization, stored procedures, indexing, triggers
• .NET - C#, Visual Studio, ASP.NET, OOP and UI design
• Experience building AI agents. This must appear on your resume.
• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of SQL, web development, and analysis experience (or equivalent)
• Preferred: OpenAI · Python scripting · Agile methodology.
• Also useful: RESTful APIs, Azure DevOps, Microsoft OpenAI framework, AI-driven development with Copilot or Claude, SDLC proficiency.
