Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Consultation: Partner with Compensation Business Partners, HRBPs, and Talent Acquisition to advise and influence business leaders on compensation strategy, programs, and issues.
• Process Improvement & Execution: Drive the identification, assessment, and implementation of ongoing compensation process improvements and policies aligned with business goals.
• Program Collaboration: Collaborate with Compensation Analytics & Design to execute and deliver Uber’s broad-based and sales compensation programs.

Requirements

• Experience Level: 6+ years of Broad-based Compensation experience and 3+ years of Sales Compensation experience.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Advanced data modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets) with the ability to synthesize complex, high-volume data into clear business conclusions.
• Communication & Stakeholder Presentation: Ability to present complex concepts and analysis into simple, compelling recommendations to senior management and business leaders.
• Are there any education or certification requirements needed for this role? Yes
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Are there any other desired skills that would be “nice to have” for this role, but are not mandatory?
• Industry Background: Track record in a fast-paced technology environment, specifically SaaS, marketplace platforms, or on-demand logistics/food delivery.
• Commission & CRM Software: Hands-on experience with modern commission software (e.g., CaptivateIQ, Spiff, Xactly) and CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Cross-Functional & Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Experience directly engaging with senior management in Sales and TA, combined with formal project management skills.
