Responsibilities

• As Operations Manager, Pharmacy, you'll lead, motivate and support the pharmacy team to dispense prescriptions in a mail-order pharmacy environment to our patients. You will oversee our pharmacy team, including hiring, scheduling, and day-to-day operational task oversight. This is an opportunity to promote a safe, efficient, and impactful pharmacy team operating at the core of exceptional patient care, whilst pushing forward what it means to operate a pharmacy in a digital environment. This role is based in New Albany, Ohio, Gilbert, AZ or Los Alamitos, CA.
• Oversee pharmacist and technician workflow within the dispense and fulfillment pharmacy.
• Lead daily huddles to drive performance, share updates, and communicate process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, including licensing and training requirements.
• Support and develop Area Managers and Leads in achieving operational excellence and scalability.
• Execute company strategies at the fulfillment level, ensuring alignment with pharmacy goals.
• Analyze performance and safety data, identifying trends to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Coordinate new process rollouts and implementation with cross-functional operations leaders.
• Collaborate with the Sr. Ops Manager and Pharmacist-in-Charge on SOP development and improvement.
• Uphold HIPAA, FDA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations regarding patient safety, PHI, and drug handling.
• Maintain compliance with cleanroom and sanitation standards to ensure safe pharmacy operations.
• Support hiring efforts by interviewing candidates for pharmacy roles as needed.
• Perform pharmacist or technician duties (order verification, DURs, dispensing, counseling) when necessary to support the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Doctorate preferred) Required
• 5-7 years in a pharmacy supervisory role with experience managing licensed and registered pharmacy technicians Required
• Effective knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulations related to the practice of pharmacy
• Ability to work flexible shift times
• Proficiency in English, verbal and written
• Proficiency in Windows based computer systems
• Ability to deliver and receive feedback and information effectively to individuals and groups
• Willingness to work in a team environment and promote company culture
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift over 30lbs safely and independently
• Mail Service/Mail Order Pharmacy Experience
• Licensed Pharmacist Active Pharmacist License in pharmacy’s home state, or willing to get licensed there Upon Hire Required AND
• Licensed or willing to get licensed in multiple states Required
• Can work any shift in the Pharmacy/Fulfillment/Compounding teams. H&H is a 24/7 operation.
