Job description

• We are seeking a Travel & Expense Analyst to join our Source to Pay function within the Travel & Expense team in Ahmedabad. This role is ideal for an individual with experience in travel and expense management, SAP, Concur and MIS reporting who enjoys driving operational excellence, ensuring policy compliance, supporting stakeholders and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end travel and expense activities, provide employee support and training, maintain financial accuracy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the function.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end travel and expense process, including the resolution of stuck expense claims and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.Support the development, implementation and maintenance of travel and expense policies and procedures aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, efficiencies and cost optimisation opportunities.Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and service providers to support high-quality service delivery.Analyse travel and expense data to identify trends, provide insights and recommend operational improvements.Maintain accrual records and prepare regular management reports on travel and expense activities.Provide guidance, training and user support for employees using the Concur platform.Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions while maintaining high service standards.Support internal and external audit requirements through accurate documentation and compliance practices.Respond to supplier and business queries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in travel and expense management.Experience working with SAP, Concur and MIS reporting tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.Skilled at engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.Proactive, accountable, customer-focused and results-oriented approach.Strong organisational skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.Commitment to professional conduct, continuous learning and adherence to company policies and procedures.
