Responsibilities
- Territory & Sales Development
- Manage and grow sales throughout Arizona, California and Southern Nevada.
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on revenue growth, new accounts, and increased market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mines, quarries, cement plants, industrial facilities, contractors, OEMs, and other bulk material handling operations.
- Expand relationships and sales opportunities within existing ASGCO® accounts.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects and prospective customers.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers, including plant managers, maintenance managers, engineers, operations personnel, purchasing teams, and corporate leadership.
- Maintain regular customer contact through field visits, follow-up, and ongoing account management.
- Technical & Customer Support
- Work directly with customers to understand conveyor challenges and recommend appropriate ASGCO® products, services, and engineered solutions.
- Conduct customer site visits, conveyor inspections, and application reviews.
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting and resolution of conveyor and bulk material handling concerns.
- Ensure customers receive the technical support and service necessary to maximize the performance of ASGCO® products.
- Coordinate with ASGCO® engineering, manufacturing, customer service, and field service teams to provide complete customer solutions.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of ASGCO® products, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Distributor Development & Training
- Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors and channel partners throughout the territory.
- Train distributors and customers on the features, benefits, applications, installation, and value of ASGCO® products and services.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and sales presentations.
- Work with distribution partners to identify new customers, projects, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of outside sales experience in industrial manufacturing, bulk material handling, mining, aggregates, cement, conveyors, or a related industry preferred.
- Conveyor equipment, conveyor belting, bulk material handling, or related technical sales experience strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial equipment and conveyor applications.
- Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships.
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while being part of a larger sales and technical team.
- Strong organizational, territory-management, and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business software.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely access industrial and customer facilities.
