• One of the fundamental problems facing the physical AI community is the sim-to-real gap in visual-spatial understanding. We're working to close it. We're applying our team's decades of experience encoding the world precisely as it is at Google Maps, Google Earth, and Niantic Labs to build the scalable real-to-sim stack for embodied AI.
• This role connects product, engineering, research, and GTM, turning technical capabilities and market insight into the positioning and assets that drive understanding, adoption, and growth. The ideal candidate combines deep technical curiosity with strategic marketing judgment.
• You'll be embedded in the robotics and physical AI ecosystem, tracking the conferences, companies, developers, researchers, and platform shifts shaping the market. You'll use that proximity to test our hypotheses, sharpen our positioning, and turn market signals into messaging and proof points that resonate with real buyers. Just as importantly, you'll feed validated demand back into product direction, helping us build toward the strongest opportunities.
• This is not a traditional product marketing role, nor is it pure demand generation. It's an opportunity for someone technical enough to understand the real-to-sim stack, strategic enough to synthesize product, market, and customer inputs into sharp messaging aligned with where we can win, and hands-on enough to create the stories, assets, and proof points that establish Niantic Spatial as a leader in physical AI.

Responsibilities

• Define the Market Narrative - Co-develop and continuously sharpen Niantic Spatial's category, positioning, and messaging for embodied AI. Carry this narrative across our website, campaigns, sales materials, and partner communications.
• Build Credible Messaging - Build credible messaging around our embodied AI stack: real-world capture to simulation-ready digital twins, policy training in deployment environments, and the path toward visual-spatial intelligence.
• Turn Capability Into Proof - Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Business Development to turn technical capabilities into credible, customer-facing proof that shows how the product works, performs, and fits into real-world workflows.
• Keep the Story Defensible - Ensure every message clearly distinguishes what ships today, what is being validated, and what is on the roadmap, so our story remains accurate and defensible.
• Build the Target-Account List - Build and maintain the target-account list for robotics and physical AI in collaboration with Go-to-Market, using market signals and customer insight to prioritize who we pursue, why, and when.
• Run Competitive Intelligence - Run competitive intelligence and turn it into positioning, enablement, and clear guidance on where Niantic Spatial can win.
• Shape Pricing and Packaging - Shape pricing, packaging, and initial product-led growth motions, turning technical capabilities into clear offerings and activation paths.
• Develop and Execute Campaigns - Develop and execute campaigns that build awareness, generate qualified interest, and establish Niantic Spatial's presence in the market.
• Build Co-Marketing Partnerships - Build co-marketing and case-study partnerships with robotics OEMs, simulation ecosystems, and strategic customers, turning them into customer stories, POVs, talks, and partner content.

Requirements

• You've spent meaningful time in the physical AI space as an engineer-turned-marketer, marketing lead at a robotics or physical AI company, or a deep practitioner in the ecosystem.
• You are comfortable operating in a category that is still taking shape. You can take fragmented market signals, technical nuance, and roadmap reality and turn it into a point of view the market can understand.
• 5+ years of experience in product marketing, integrated marketing, technical sales, or category creation across robotics, autonomous systems, simulation, or physical AI.
• A track record of defining emerging categories and translating complex technology into a clear narrative: what it is, why it matters, and why the company is positioned to lead.
• The ability to build credibility with both technical buyers and executive stakeholders, turning market insight and product truth into positioning, proof points, and adoption-driving assets.
• Strong judgment and a builder's mindset: willing to challenge assumptions, improve existing embodied AI messaging, and sharpen the company's go-to-market strategy without overclaiming.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience creating POVs, conference talks, partner content, customer stories, and practical buyer frameworks that shape perception and support real sales conversations.
• Hands-on familiarity with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, with the ability to turn technical workflows into useful, compelling content.

Benefits

• Base salary range of $171,000 to $222,000. Compensation also includes an annual bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and more.
