• The Social Media Strategist develops and executes content and social media strategies that strengthen Terros Health's brand awareness, engagement, and reputation. This role translates organizational priorities, audience insights, and leadership objectives into compelling, platform-specific content and measurable social media initiatives. The Social Media Strategist manages the full social media lifecycle, including strategy, content creation, publishing, community engagement, analytics, and optimization while collaborating cross-functionally. The role ensures alignment with brand standards, organizational values, and business goals while supporting broader marketing, communications, website, event, and patient- and employee-facing initiatives.

• Develops multi-channel social media strategies that define each platform's role, priority audiences, content architecture, publishing approach, and success metrics in alignment with business goals, brand standards, and external affairs objectives.
• Conducts audience research, and social listening to understand behaviors, needs, sentiment, brand mentions, and opportunities for meaningful engagement.
• Establishes content pillars, narrative frameworks, editorial direction, and content calendars that guide consistent, audience-centered social media output across all platforms.
• Creates campaign concepts and ongoing content programs that support brand strategy, organizational priorities, service lines, and measurable agency goals.
• Designs, writes, edits, produces, schedules, and publishes accessible, platform-specific content, including short-form video, graphics, photography, and copy, using appropriate content and scheduling tools.
• Manages community engagement across comments, direct messages, and brand mentions; coordinates timely responses and escalates sensitive issues to protect organizational reputation and patient privacy.
• Develops influencer and creator program strategies, including partnership objectives, selection criteria, participation tiers, brand and content guidelines, approval processes, and performance expectations.
• Builds measurement frameworks, key performance indicators, dashboards, and reporting structures; analyze results and translate findings into clear recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Monitors cultural and industry trends, platform updates, emerging formats, and the competitive landscape to identify responsible opportunities and improve channel and content performance.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with Business Development, subject matter experts, internal leadership, marketing and communication partners to manage briefs, brand messaging, approvals, assets, timelines, and coordinated execution
• Supports the organization's website and broader digital presence as needed, with emphasis on content creation, accuracy, brand alignment, audience usability, and coordination with external partners. Provides support for other organizational marketing, including but not limited to, content creation, and design needs, including campaigns, events, print materials, website content, and patient-facing lobby TV content.
• Serves as subject matter expert on social media strategy, content, audience engagement, and platform best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
• At least four (4) years of progressive experience in social media, digital strategy, content, marketing, or communications, preferably in a healthcare or mission-driven organization.
• Experience in graphic design along with the social media as well as event engagement that includes day of photography, social media, planning etc.
• Demonstrated experience developing multi-channel social media strategies, platform roles, audience targets, content architecture, and campaign plans aligned with business goals.
• Experience conducting audience research, developing personas, using social listening, and applying insights to content and engagement decisions.
• Hands-on skill in writing, visual storytelling, graphic content, and short-form video creation, editing, formatting, scheduling, publishing, and deployment
• Strong knowledge of platform-specific formats and best practices, community management, digital accessibility, reputation management, and appropriate issue escalation.
• Proficiency with social media scheduling, management, and analytics platforms and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Data analysis and reporting fluency, including the ability to develop KPIs and measurement frameworks and translate performance results into actionable recommendations.
• Strong project management, cross-team collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, approvals, timelines, and ongoing publishing demands.
• Demonstrated alignment with Terros Health's mission, vision, and values and the judgment to represent the organization responsibly across public platforms.
• Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years driving experience, and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
• Must successfully pass a TB screening and criminal background check
