- As a Machine Operator you are responsible for sorting pallets to grade using a SMETCO 300 series pallet sorter. The Machine Operator is responsible to inspect the quality of all pallets and assign a grade, while removing all trash and debris. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site! This is the perfect role for someone looking to maintain high levels of activity and it is vital to the success of our customer’s production!
Responsibilities
- Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights
- Load and unload materials from trailers by hand
- Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the distribution center
- Check loads to make sure they are secure
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system
- Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress
- Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly
Requirements
- High school degree or GED required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
- Ability to work overtime when needed
