• Ortho Molecular Products is looking for a diligent, organized, and motivated individual to join our team!
• The full-time (Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm), hourly position, is located at our corporate office in Barrington, IL. This is not a remote position.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and a sense of personal responsibility, are essential as the Accounts Payable Specialist. You will be responsible for keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued vendors. We are looking for the contributions of this valuable team member to help refine existing processes to meet tomorrow’s needs. The Accounting department at Ortho is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical for success.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, also known as Microsoft Business Central and Microsoft BC
• Thorough knowledge of the Accounts Payable business cycle and accounting principles (GAAP)
• Ability to work effectively with large amounts of information in an organized, systematic way, with a high level of accuracy
• Associates degree in Accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, emphasis in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational, administrative, time management skills and documentation skills with attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to switch tasks easily
• Character qualities: orderliness, thoroughness, diligence, initiative and responsibility
