Job description
- The Applications Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and optimization of enterprise applications. Serves as a key liaison between business users and IT, ensuring systems are configured effectively, users are supported, and processes run smoothly. Focuses on system usability, data accuracy, security and continuous improvement across all owned applications.
Responsibilities

- · Administer and support SAM’s enterprise software applications, ensuring reliable day-to-day operation, consistency and best practices in system usage
- · Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related support issues, troubleshooting and resolving user concerns or coordinating with IT/vendors as needed
- · Configure and maintain system settings, user roles, permissions, and workflows across applications
- · Monitor system usage and performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
- · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend system enhancements or configuration changes
- · Support user onboarding and training, including creating documentation, job aids, and conducting training sessions
- · Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, validations, and cleanup activities
- · Lead system updates, upgrades, and releases preparation, including testing and validation from a business perspective
- · Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve system issues, manage escalations, and implement enhancements
- · Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and system documentation in clear, user-friendly language
- · Generate and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and management decision-making
- · Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and gathering user feedback
- · Track and manage application support tickets, enhancement requests, and system issues using ticketing tools
- · Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and data governance standards
- · Assist in identifying and implementing automation or process improvements within system capabilities
- · Improve company-wide standardization and efficiency
- · Act as liaison between departments
- · Provide Quality Assurance evaluations of any in-house developed applications or software
- · Support system performance and operations
- · Provide troubleshooting and administrative support
- · Manage data and conduct audits of systems
- · Maintain employee user accounts and reports
- · Assist with vendor communications
- · Develop relationships with partners
- · Improve processes and training documentation

Requirements
- · High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- · 2–4+ years of experience supporting or administering business applications
- · Strong communication skills with the ability to support and train non-technical end users
- · Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple systems, requests, and priorities
- · Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions
- · Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and respond to support requests in a timely manner
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), including basic reporting and data handling
- · Experience working with user access management, system configuration, or application support preferred
- · Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or Fresh Service) is a plus
- · Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and technologies
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
