Job description
- As a Tote Sorter , you’ll get to hand sort empty totes weighing about 8 pounds each onto pallets for manufacturers. This is a vital role for our sites to ensure we maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy of performance!
- $16.50/hr.
- 3rd Shift: Friday - Sunday
- 5am-5:30pm
- Location:
- Lakeland, FL 33811
Responsibilities
- Hand stack totes on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
- Examine products for quality standards
- Ensure all trash and debris is removed prior to returning to customer
- Wrap sorted pallets and secure for shipment
- Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the storage facility
- Accurately complete all paperwork to track daily progress
- Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly
Requirements
- What You Need
- High school degree or GED required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills needed
- Ability to work overtime when needed
