- Rural Staffing Services® is partnering with Jefferson Healthcare to find an experienced Controller who can bring strong accounting expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative approach to the Finance team.

Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will oversee the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash management, audits, regulatory reporting, and financial compliance. The role also supports budgeting, strategic planning, process improvement, and leadership development within the Finance Department.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Five years of progressively responsible accounting leadership experience required
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Healthcare accounting or hospital finance experience preferred
- Experience with governmental accounting, Medicare Cost Reports, and external audits preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
