Job description

• At Indeed, we are dedicated to facilitating meaningful connections between jobseekers and employers. As a Product Manager I on the Job Experience team, you will own a critical set of initiatives focused on improving the job posting and job management experiences for employers ranging from small businesses to large enterprises. You will partner closely with engineering, data science, design, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, run experiments, and ship improvements that directly support Indeed’s revenue growth.
• In this role, you will help define product strategy, prioritize roadmap investments, and drive execution across initiatives that improve employer engagement and the end-to-end job management experience. You will translate user needs, research, data, and business objectives into clear product requirements and priorities, while communicating product direction, progress, and tradeoffs to leaders and collaborators. You will use experimentation, customer insights, and data to validate hypotheses, measure outcomes, and inform decisions, iterating on the product and roadmap based on what you learn. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply curious about user behavior, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by owning outcomes end to end.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams and other interested parties to prioritize and manage roadmaps for delivering toward product vision incrementally and efficiently.
• Communicate roadmap and product plan to and get alignment with leadership, collaborators and interested parties.
• Be the face of the customer internally, advocating for, and representing their needs, opportunities, and product requirements.
• Identify, and monitor product goals and success metrics.
• Iterate quickly to launch new features and make data-driven judgments to test their efficacy.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates on the roadmap and progress toward goals to leadership and collaborators.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a minimum of 5 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align partners and communicate roadmap decisions clearly.
• Experience working closely with engineers, designers, and data scientists to define, prioritize, and deliver product improvements.
• Data-driven mindset including experience with data analytics tools (SQL or equivalent), A/B testing, comfortable writing queries, interpreting experiment results, and making decisions grounded in evidence.
• Experienced with front end user experience (web, mobile, apps) and prototyping experiences using UX tools (figma) or AI tools (claude, chatgpt, cursor, etc.)
• Demonstrated curiosity about user behavior and product quality, with a track record of shipping improvements that move meaningful metrics.
