• We are a national network of experienced, high-level freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for our client law firms.
• Our client has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Florida Plaintiff’s Labor & Employment Attorney to provide research and drafting support.
• Remote work hours will vary but are expected to start at approximately 5+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other employment litigation documents
• Conduct legal research on labor and employment issues
• Prepare legal memoranda and case analyses
• Review case files and supporting documents
• Assist with case strategy and litigation support
• Help manage deadlines and keep matters moving forward
• Provide additional back-end support as needed

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing to practice Law in the State of Florida
• 5+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Strong plaintiff-side employment law experience
• Excellent legal research and drafting skills
• Experience with motion practice and discovery
• Strong analytical and written communication skills
• Responsive, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
• Organized and able to work independently
