• The IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Kymera International's global IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environments. This role supports enterprise networks, cloud services, servers, endpoints, identity platforms, and security technologies while helping ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company systems and data. The position plays a key role in vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, access governance, disaster recovery readiness, and implementation of cybersecurity best practices aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Global Cybersecurity Systems
• Administer and maintain global cybersecurity platforms, including Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), vulnerability management, email security, and managed security services.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and assist with incident detection, response, containment, and remediation activities.Global Cybersecurity Systems: Administrate and manage Global Cybersecurity applications and Environments. Ensuring a secure environment for Kymera.
• Administer and support global infrastructure including LAN/WAN networking, firewalls, wireless networks, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, Microsoft 365 services, and business-critical applications.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, backup integrity, and disaster recovery preparedness.
• Oversee global Identity and Access Management programs, running projects focused on improving and enhancing the global IAM programs.
• Support Zero Trust security initiatives and identity governance improvements.
• Support and administer Microsoft Azure and related cloud technologies with emphasis on cloud security, resource governance, cost optimization, monitoring, and compliance.
• Participate in cloud architecture reviews and implementation of security best practices.
• Vulnerability & Patch Management
• Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate remediation activities, track risk exposure, and ensure timely deployment of security patches across infrastructure, endpoints, and cloud environments.
• Security Monitoring & Incident Response
• Monitor security dashboards, logs, alerts, and threat intelligence sources.
• Participate in cybersecurity investigations, incident response exercises, root-cause analysis, and post-incident documentation.
• Apply global security and compliance standards as defined by the Director, Global Infrastructure & Security.
• Support compliance initiatives, cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, and implementation of security controls aligned with company standards and industry frameworks.
• Maintain policies, procedures, asset inventories, system documentation, controls, and disaster recovery documentation and facilitate alignment with other IT teams.
• Manage cybersecurity and vendor relationships for North American sites, along with managing local spends where applicable
• Provide support for technical activities as required or requested

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent or relevant current IT Certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified System Administrator, ISC2 certifications).
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a System Administrator or Security Administrator required including knowledge of modern cybersecurity technologies including: SIEM, EDR/XDR, MDR platforms and services
• Fluency in English is essential, other languages such as Portuguese, German or Norwegian a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Active Directory and networking experience preferred including router, Access Point, basic switch management, general networking knowledge
• Expert level Windows Desktop and server knowledge and experience including Server management, backups, updates, reboots, imaging and restoring from image
• Global Microsoft Office 365 and Azure (or other cloud environment) administration knowledge and experienceStrong experience administering Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Defender, and related cloud technologies.
• Datanchor and general encryption tools
• Occasional travel domestically or internationally (Canada and Europe) for remote site support or implementation of projects may be required
• General business application support (connect, print, export) and telephone (including MS Teams)
• Generalist in IT – with the ability to seek solutions to technical issues but also ability to explain technical information clearly to non-IT users
