• Nestled directly on the beautiful shores of Fort Myers Beach and proudly operated by TPI Hospitality, this isn't your typical hospitality job—it's your chance to spend your days on the beach while delivering the signature Margaritaville experience.
• As a Beach Operations Attendant, you'll help create the ultimate beach day for our guests. You'll set up beach chairs and umbrellas, serve food and tropical beverages directly on the sand, assist guests with beach amenities, and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming beachfront. This position is physically demanding and requires working outdoors in the heat, walking on soft sand throughout the day, and lifting and moving beach equipment while providing exceptional guest service with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine Margaritaville hospitality and create a fun, friendly beach atmosphere.
• Set up, arrange, and break down beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and other beach equipment each day.
• Carry, transport, and position beach furniture throughout the sand to meet guest requests.
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and other refreshments directly to guests enjoying the beach.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the resort's point-of-sale system.
• Deliver meals and beverages promptly while ensuring exceptional guest service.
• Monitor inventory of chairs, umbrellas, towels, and beach equipment.
• Assist guests with seating, umbrella placement, towel service, and general beach amenities.
• Provide information about resort dining, activities, entertainment, and amenities.
• Maintain a clean beachfront by removing trash, collecting towels, and keeping walkways clear.
• Communicate guest requests and maintenance or safety concerns to leadership.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including transporting and storing beach equipment.
• Work closely with Food & Beverage, Recreation, Security, and Resort Operations to create exceptional guest experiences.
• Jump in wherever needed—because teamwork makes the island dream work!

Requirements

• Previous hospitality, beach service, food & beverage, serving, recreation, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Positive, energetic personality with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in direct sunlight, high temperatures, humidity, wind, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move beach chairs, umbrellas, tables, coolers, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to walk several miles each day while working on soft, uneven sand.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and peak resort seasons.
