Job description
- Join our compassionate team in our Inpatient Complex Medical program, where we provide around-the-clock care in a warm, family-centered environment. We support individuals aged 15-30 who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs, helping each individual thrive in a safe and caring setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while honoring each child’s privacy and dignity.
- Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each child’s unique needs are met.
- Help children look and feel their best by maintaining cleanliness, comfort, and readiness for scheduled activities.
- Support families by sharing updates and reinforcing care techniques that promote each child’s progress and well-being.
- Accurately document care provided and maintain compliance with ChildServe policies and professional standards.
Requirements
- Active DIA certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Iowa.
- Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Benefits
- Full-Time Days - 3 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, every 3rd weekend
- Part-Time Days - 2 shifts per week, 6:00am-6:00pm, every 6th weekend
- Full-Time Nights - 3 shifts per week, 6:00pm-6:00am, every 3rd weekend
