• Location: 100% Remote - Must be Local to Alhambra, CA
• Pay rate: $38.00 - 42/hour DOE
• Duration: 12+Months (Possibility of extension)

Responsibilities

• Lead conversion projects, meetings, and communication directly with business owners.
• Convert mockups to WordPress pages.
• Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress.
• Troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Implement responsive web design techniques.
• Optimize performance of WordPress sites.
• Implement Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Develop WordPress custom themes and plugins.
• Utilize WordPress REST API.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in WordPress administration, development, migration, and optimization.
• At least 3 years of that experience must be in a lead capacity.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in leading conversion projects, meetings, and communication directly with business owners.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in the WordPress Platform.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with converting mockups to WordPress pages.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with migrating websites from other platforms to WordPress.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with responsive web design techniques.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with common WordPress Plugins/Features such as Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Type, and Duplication or Backups.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with optimizing performance of WordPress sites.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, SASS/SCSS, JAVASCRIPT.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in WordPress Custom Theme and Plugin Development.
• 3 years of experience within the last 5 years with WordPress REST API.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
