Job description
- As part of Finastra’s AI COE, we are seeking a Back-End Engineer to design and implement robust backend services, APIs, and processes as part of the agile LoanIQ delivery pod.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and data access layers
- Develop clean, well‑tested, and maintainable code using C# and .NET
- Integrate backend services with databases and external systems
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and senior engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features
Requirements
- Experience with LoanIQ is advantageous (3-6 years)
- Experience building backend services with Python/C#/.NET (or equivalent backend frameworks)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and server‑side logic
- Strong grasp of object‑oriented programming and software design fundamentals
- Experience using Git/GitHub in a team‑based development environment
- Exposure and interest in developing large language based applications
