- The Chapter Lead, Consumer Finance Marketing role sits in the Consumer Marketing team, reporting directly to the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead RBS Marketing and Chapter Area Lead Consumer Marketing.

Responsibilities
- Do work that matters
- Building the marketing strategy for the Consumer Finance business to deliver on business and customer goals, with a focus on customer acquisition, engagement and retention
- Ensuring customer insights are embedded into the plans through relevant and simple Customer Value Propositions, timely and compelling communications
- Driving innovation into the business through opportunities from within the marketing ecosystem
- Leading cross functional agile teams with internal and business stakeholders to ensure execution and delivery excellence of plans
- Ongoing review of internal and external operating environment to ensure coherence of plans and pivoting accordingly
- Leading a lean team of strategic marketers to ensure efficient, timely and effective communications
Requirements
- We’re interested in hearing from people who possess
- Deep knowledge and commercial acumen of all facets of Consumer Finance, including Credit Cards and Personal Loans
- Extensive experience and leadership in strategic marketing
- Passion and proven capability in using data and insights to drive marketing plans
- Senior people leadership experience (+10 people), working in agile teams preferred
- Sound knowledge and experience with paid media and implementation of adtech to drive performance marketing outcomes and acquisition volumes
- Proven experience of strong collaboration with all elements of the value chain in retail banking, including product / distribution / digital etc
- Ability to influence across all levels and within each business lines’ leadership teams
- Strong knowledge of all elements of the marketing mix
