Job description
- Now hiring Service Advisors at Tonkin Mazda of Portland—where great culture meets career growth. If you thrive in a fast‑paced dealership environment and take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences, this is the role for you. Our service department is best‑in‑class, and as a Service Advisor, you’ll be at the center of it all—coordinating between technicians and customers to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Drive the sale of technicians' time to meet the department's sales forecast
- Prioritize required services and be prepared to provide options upon request
- Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
- Ensure the customer has a positive dealership experience
Requirements
- 1-3 years of automotive service advising experience
- Experience in CDK is strongly preferred
- A strong work ethic and good work history
- Communication Skills
- Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
