• Newmark is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across Newmark's global environment. Reporting to the Global Head of IT Support & Operations, this position will have primary responsibility for managing infrastructure projects associated with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), IT integrations, office relocations and facilities projects, technology migrations, audit and governance initiatives, and enterprise infrastructure programs.
• The role requires a strong project manager who can coordinate multiple technical and business workstreams, manage dependencies and risks, work effectively with senior stakeholders and vendors, and drive projects from initial planning through implementation and operational handoff.

Responsibilities

• Mergers & Acquisitions and IT Integrations
• Manage IT workstreams associated with acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, and business integrations.
• Develop and manage comprehensive IT integration plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and cutover activities.
• Coordinate infrastructure discovery and technology assessments for acquired organizations.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Network, Endpoint, Security, Applications, Identity, Service Desk, and business teams to develop integration requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate migration and integration of users, devices, email, identity, data, applications, networks, telephony, collaboration platforms, and other technology services.
• Track Day 1 readiness, transition activities, migration waves, stabilization, and post-integration activities.
• Coordinate with acquired-company IT teams, external vendors, and Newmark stakeholders throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Facilities, Office Relocations & Real Estate Projects
• Manage IT delivery for new offices, office relocations, expansions, consolidations, renovations, and closures.
• Partner closely with Facilities, Corporate Real Estate, business leadership, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Develop technology requirements, budgets, schedules, equipment plans, and implementation timelines aligned with construction and move schedules.
• Coordinate circuits, structured cabling, network switches, Wi-Fi, workstation technology, conference rooms, printers, telephony, AV, and other office technology requirements.
• Track equipment procurement, vendor delivery, installation, testing, and site readiness.
• Coordinate technology cutovers and ensure offices are operational and ready for employees on scheduled move-in dates.
• Technology Migrations
• Lead enterprise infrastructure and technology migration projects.
• Develop migration strategies, schedules, user groups, communication plans, testing requirements, cutover plans, rollback plans, and post-migration support.
• Coordinate Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, file/data, identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and collaboration-platform migrations.
• Manage migration dependencies across internal engineering teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Track migration progress, exceptions, remediation activities, and overall completion.
• Ensure appropriate validation and operational handoff following migrations.
• Infrastructure Project Management
• Lead projects from initiation and requirements gathering through planning, execution, implementation, stabilization, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, decision logs, and project documentation.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams across different business units and geographic regions.
• Establish clear project ownership, deliverables, deadlines, and accountability across technical teams.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, working sessions, status meetings, steering meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
• Identify risks and issues early and drive resolution or escalation to appropriate leadership.
• Ensure completed projects transition successfully into operational support.
• Audit, Risk & Governance
• Manage and coordinate technology initiatives associated with internal and external audits, IT controls, risk remediation, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Risk, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, Infrastructure, and other technology teams.
• Track audit findings, remediation plans, control gaps, owners, target dates, supporting evidence, and closure.
• Coordinate collection and validation of documentation and evidence required for audits and governance reviews.
• Maintain clear reporting of open findings, risks, dependencies, and remediation status.
• Ensure infrastructure projects follow Newmark's technology standards, security requirements, change management processes, and governance frameworks.
• Support continuous improvement of project governance, documentation, reporting, and operational controls.
• Vendor, Procurement & Financial Management
• Coordinate third-party technology vendors, managed service providers, telecommunications providers, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Assist with Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, project estimates, equipment requirements, licensing, and vendor deliverables.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and technology leadership as required.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, purchase requirements, equipment orders, invoices, and financial commitments.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Escalate vendor risks or delivery issues that could impact project timelines or business operations.
• Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Management
• Provide clear and concise project reporting to the Global Head of IT Support & Operations, IT leadership, business leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Develop project dashboards covering overall status, milestones, accomplishments, upcoming activities, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and financial status.
• Translate technical issues into understandable business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams, business units, geographic regions, and vendors.
• Escalate critical risks and decisions with clearly documented impacts, options, owners, and required actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of IT project management experience, preferably within a large, geographically distributed enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex M&A integrations, infrastructure migrations, office relocations/facilities projects, and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical workstreams including Network, Endpoint, Identity, Microsoft 365, Security, Applications, Service Desk, and Infrastructure.
• Experience managing audit, governance, risk remediation, or compliance-related technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies and dependencies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong experience managing project schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, vendors, and executive reporting.
• Experience working with technical engineering teams as well as senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or similar project management certification.
• Experience managing technology workstreams associated with corporate acquisitions and integrations.
• Experience managing IT requirements for large office relocations, expansions, renovations, and new-office openings.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Active Directory, Intune, Azure, networking, Wi-Fi, endpoint technologies, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project and portfolio management platforms.
• Experience supporting internal/external IT audits and technology governance programs.
• Commercial real estate or financial-services technology experience is a plus.

Benefits

• The expected base salary for this position ranges from 140,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package (including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching), this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
