Responsibilities

• Since 2018, we have delivered the most trusted AI systems operating in real-world use cases—providing a layer of assurance underneath hundreds of deployed models that monitors performance, manages drift, and sustains systems long after they leave the lab.
• As a Junior Front-End Engineer, you’ll play an active role in designing and implementing UI/UX components for our core products. You’ll work closely with a team of UX designers, data scientists, and software engineers to solve complex problems—making this an ideal environment to accelerate your technical growth while delivering high-impact solutions for our users.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another engineering or science discipline, or completion of a software development boot camp and 0–2 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, with a solid understanding of language fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and modern front-end development practices
• Familiarity with UI/UX, knowledge of design patterns, and experience designing and styling applications with CSS
• Experience building web applications with React through professional, academic, or personal projects
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating back-end services into front-end applications
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
• Familiarity with component frameworks like Material UI or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn
• Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be a US person (a US citizen, a US national, or a Green Card holder)
• Demonstrated software development through personal, academic, or open source projects
• Experience with GraphQL, Next.js, Node.js
• Familiarity with libraries such as React Query/TanStack, Axios, Context API, styled-components
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), automated testing frameworks, and/or CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Python or Golang
• Experience implementing and deploying software in containerized or cloud environments, using tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes (K8s)
• Passion for discussing and creating mocks in Figma; working directly with design to create the best user experience
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret (or above) US security clearance, or an active Secret (or above) US security clearance

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000–$130,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, equity grants, and cash bonuses.
