Job description

• As Staff Marketing Specialist for U.S. OEMs, you will drive design-wins and revenue growth for our HPAC product portfolio across leading Enterprise and Networking OEM accounts. Working directly with customers and partnering with Sales, Field Applications Engineering (FAE), and Product Management teams, you'll identify market opportunities, support business development activities, and help establish Renesas as a trusted power management partner for AI, data center, and networking applications.

Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement & Business Development
• Engage directly with U.S. Enterprise and Networking OEM customers to understand requirements, identify design-win opportunities, and drive revenue growth. Build and nurture trusted relationships with key technical and procurement stakeholders. Support executive-level engagement and provide customers with technical and commercial guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Cross-functional Support & Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, FAE, and Product Management teams to align resources around customer needs and design-win opportunities. Coordinate product promotion and business development activities across assigned accounts. Ensure effective communication and information flow between customer teams and internal Renesas stakeholders.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence
• Monitor competitive landscape, market dynamics, and design windows across assigned OEM accounts. Analyze market trends and communicate findings to Product Management and leadership. Identify segment-specific opportunities and recommend strategies to strengthen Renesas' market position.
• Marketing Collateral & Customer Communication
• Develop and maintain customer-facing materials—presentations, competitive analysis, technical application notes, and training resources—that clearly communicate Renesas' value proposition. Tailor messaging for technical and business audiences.
• Design-Win Execution
• Support design-win identification and pursuit across your assigned OEM account portfolio. Track pipeline, track progress against targets, and work with teams to remove barriers to closing designs. Report status and results to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, OR equivalent professional experience (6+ years in business development, field applications engineering, product marketing, or similar roles working with OEM/ODM customers).
• Demonstrated track record of supporting design-wins and driving revenue in enterprise or infrastructure markets.
• Experience engaging with U.S. Enterprise and/or Networking OEM customers in data center, server, networking, or computing markets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to explain technical power management concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across distributed teams in different time zones and organizational boundaries.
• High energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented with strong ownership of account outcomes.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to support customer engagement and internal collaboration.
• Master's degree (MSEE, MBA) or equivalent technical depth.
• Hands-on understanding of power management applications—digital multiphase controllers, Smart Power Stages, Voltage Regulator Modules (VRMs), or related power semiconductor products.
• Experience in data center, server, or AI infrastructure markets.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Familiarity with design-in cycles, customer evaluation processes, and OEM sourcing workflows.

Benefits

• The expected annual pay range for this position is a base range of $148,000K - $185,000K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
