Customer Service & Community Associate, Weekends (Part-Time) at Evergreen Waffles & Pancakes in Glencoe, IL

Job description

• The Customer Service & Community Associate will provide weekend coverage for Evergreen’s customer service and social channels. You’ll help make sure our customers receive timely, thoughtful support while keeping an eye out for anything that needs to be quickly escalated to the broader Evergreen team.
• This is a limited-hours role designed specifically for weekend coverage, with approximately 6–10 hours per week spread across Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Evergreen’s customer service inbox throughout the weekend and respond to customer questions and feedback
• Identify customer questions that require additional support and escalate to the appropriate Evergreen team member as needed
• Monitor Evergreen’s social channels for customer DMs, comments, tags and mentions
• Respond to customer questions and engage with our community in Evergreen’s brand voice
• Repost relevant customer and community content
• Ensure Evergreen’s customer service and social channels have consistent coverage throughout the weekend

Requirements

• Prior customer service, community management or social media experience; CPG or food brand experience preferred
• Excellent written communication skills and strong judgment
• Comfortable communicating with customers in a warm, friendly and professional brand voice
• Good judgment in knowing when to escalate customer questions
• Reliable and comfortable working independently
• Familiarity with customer service and social media management tools is a plus
