- BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina seeks an Associate Actuary for its Columbia, SC location.
- This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.
- There are multiple positions available.
Responsibilities
- Compiles actuarial reports. Performs analysis and determination of risk levels and rates. Reviews rating bureau changes. Prepares rate filings. Determines bulk loss and loss expense reserves for reported/unreported liabilities. Reviews various methodologies used to promulgate reserves.
Requirements
- · Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Economics; foreign equivalent accepted.
- · Must have attained one of the following: FCAS, ASA, or ACAS designation.
- We Prefer That You Have The Following:
- · 12 months experience as an Actuary
