Responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care.
- Measure and document vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring readiness and comfort.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description.
- Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
- Phlebotomy experience
