Job description

• The Internal Communications Manager – Technology and Data will serve as the primary communications lead for internal communications in support of Andersen’s enterprise technology and data strategy. As a member of the Corporate Communications team, the manager will be responsible for design and execution of communications plans, strategies, key messaging and tactics focused on enterprise understanding, adoption, and engagement of technology and data as critical enablers to our business strategy and growth. .
• The internal communications manager will have responsibility for providing strategic and tactical support for implementation of technology and data initiatives across the company, and will serve as a communication expert and thought partner with senior technology and data leadership.
• With a focus on education, adoption and ongoing employee engagement, the internal communications manager will support enterprise transformation, providing communications leadership and support to improve performance and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Technology and Data leadership teams to develop and implement a robust internal communications program for employees that integrates corporate, business, and site-level communications, leadership messaging and visibility, and other information in a way that is relational for employees and drives employee engagement and adoption of technology and data.
• Identify content opportunities and write/produce stories for employee communications. Must write in concise, accurate and accessible language that can be quickly and easily understood. Leverage a variety of content formats to produce highly engaging multimedia content, including written, video, photography and graphic design.
• Develop and manage technology and data messaging framework and narrative, translating complex technical and data initiatives into clear, actionable messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences. Ensure messaging connects work to business value, outcomes, and enterprise priorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, business, marketing, international relations or technical discipline.
• 6-8 years of corporate communications background – with focus on information technology, data or other technical field preferred.
• Experience working with senior leaders on executive-level communications.
• Experience with issues or crisis communications experience (corporate, govt., non-profit and/or PR agency).
• Must be a strong writer with ability to tailor content to specific target audiences.
• Communicate effectively, clearly, and creatively in both written, digital and visual mediums on complex technical and corporate information to an operations audience.
• Experience with content management systems.
• Multimedia and/or video storytelling experience.
• Self starter with effective time and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively solve problems and identify opportunities.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and productively with all types of people at all levels of the organization and with external vendors.
