• At Rehmann Solutions, we're looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll support a diverse portfolio of clients by delivering accurate payroll processing, providing exceptional service, and helping clients navigate payroll and compliance requirements with confidence.

Responsibilities

• As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients' payroll operations by:
• Processing payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients
• Managing payroll reporting and coordinating payroll tax registrations
• Setting up and maintaining payroll systems and benefit tracking solutions
• Verifying payroll data and ensuring smooth transitions from prior providers
• Serving as a trusted resource for client payroll questions and inquiries
• Identifying, researching, and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Collaborating with internal experts and technology partners to address complex issues
• Supporting continuous process improvement initiatives and payroll best practices
• Building strong relationships with clients, payroll vendors, and internal team members
• Contributing to a culture of learning, collaboration, and exceptional client service

Requirements

• Technical Expertise
• Experience with payroll platforms such as Gusto, ADP, QuickBooks Online Payroll, or similar systems
• Knowledge of payroll processing, compliance requirements, and multi-state payroll tax regulations
• Understanding of payroll setup, system integrations, and payroll reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience supporting benefits administration, including health and retirement plans
• Ability to work with time-tracking systems and payroll integrations

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of payroll-related experience
• Experience supporting multiple clients or working in a service-oriented environment is a plus
