• The Associate Director, Media Analytics plays a critical role in shaping how data informs media strategy and client decision-making. This position is responsible for elevating our client-facing analytics capabilities through compelling data storytelling, advanced measurement frameworks, and actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
• You will lead the development of integrated measurement strategies across multi-channel campaigns, ensuring that analytics not only report performance but also guide optimization and innovation. This role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution - someone who can unpack complex problems, structure solutions, and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, influencing senior stakeholders and partnering across internal teams such as Strategy, Activation, Programmatic, and Data Architecture. You will also work closely with external vendors and data partners to maximize opportunities for clients, leveraging advanced modeling, experimentation, and cutting-edge technology to deliver measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-house expert on audience data (1P and 3P) and data-driven media activation
• Advise on how data can drive business outcomes and improve ROI
• Design and implement measurement frameworks, learning agendas, and experimentation plans
• Streamline cross-channel reporting processes for efficiency and scalability
• Connect diagnostic analytics to business objectives for actionable outcomes
• Translate insights into strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives
• Develop compelling narratives to influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers
• Lead client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying organic growth opportunities
• Partner with internal teams (Programmatic, Investment, Data Architecture) to support campaign activation and advanced data use cases
• Collaborate with vendors and data partners to maximize client data opportunities
• Author and edit media documents (POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements, client memos)
• Stay current on industry trends and evangelize best practices internally and externally
• Lead experimentation frameworks and ensure alignment with business KPIs
• Understand platform/data technologies and explain technical concepts in simple terms
• Quickly adapt to new ad measurement and technology platforms and train team members effectively

Requirements

• Vertical experience & knowledge of QSR and/or Retail/Consumer Goods
• 5+ years in media analytics, client management, and strategic planning
• Proven ability to turn analytics into business recommendations
• Expertise in A/B testing, measurement frameworks, and experimentation design
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• In-depth knowledge of ad and marketing technology, including media buying, multi-channel measurement, ad servers, DSPs, identity resolution, and dynamic creative optimization
• Experience with cross-channel media planning, execution, and measurement processes
• Familiarity with automation tools and process optimization techniques
• Hands-on experience translating complex concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple clients or brands
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new ad measurement and technology platforms and train team members effectively
• Embody a can-do attitude, and a “figureoutability” mindset
• Day 1 readiness
• Start-up experience (or commensurate entrepreneurial experience) strongly preferred
• Deep understanding and experience based point-of-view on best of breed technology tools for BI/Data Analytics, Martech, Adtech, CDP, CRM, etc. preferred.
• Previous agency-side experience
• Experience working with marketing mix modeling (MMM), attribution and measurement companies: including Neustar, MMA (IPSOS), Analytic Partners, Nielsen (mROI; Visual IQ), IRI, Circana, (m)PHASIZE, etc.
• Web analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
• Surveys (Lucid, Millward Brown, Nielsen, etc.)
• Competitive monitoring tools (Nielsen, comScore, Kantar, Pathmatics, Competitrac, Numerator, etc.)

Benefits

• Compensation Range: USD $112,290.00 - USD $161,280.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
