• Salary Range
• The HR Partner will serve as a hands-on HR resource for employees, managers, and leadership, supporting day-to-day human resources operations while partnering with the business to address workforce needs and employee-related matters.
• This role will be based in Harlingen, TX, with potential travel to various locations throughout Texas as business needs require. The HR Partner will work closely with managers and HR leadership to ensure consistent application of company policies, strengthen employee engagement, support performance management, and maintain a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.
• The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented HR professional who can build strong relationships with employees and managers, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees, managers, and leadership on day-to-day HR matters.
• Provide guidance and support regarding HR policies, procedures, employee concerns, and workplace matters.
• Support employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
• Partner with managers to address performance concerns, employee development, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure employee relations cases are properly documented, organized, and escalated when appropriate.
• Support recruiting efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
• Support leave of absence, workers’ compensation, payroll-related matters, and other employee support processes.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of HR-related issues.
• Monitor and support compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements, as well as company policies.
• Identify employee training and development needs and coordinate training initiatives as needed.
• Support employee engagement and culture initiatives across Texas locations.
• Prepare HR reports, tracking logs, and other workforce-related information for HR leadership.
• Partner with managers to identify workforce needs, address challenges, and improve HR processes.
• Support HR projects, process improvements, audits, and organizational initiatives.
• Travel to various Texas locations as needed to support employees, managers, and HR initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Human Resources, HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist, or a related HR role.
• Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with employees, managers, and leadership.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Ability to coach and guide managers through employee-related situations and performance matters.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Solutions-oriented approach with the ability to resolve issues while recognizing when escalation is appropriate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High level of accountability, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Experience working with HR systems, employee records, reporting, and operational processes.
• Ability and willingness to travel to various Texas locations as business needs require.
• Bilingual English and Spanish required and non-negotiable.
