• POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Specialist, Program Finance, your roles and responsibilities will include:
• Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity for multiple programs using COBRA and SAP.
• Perform program performance forecasting and weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis.
• Forecast against financial plans, including profitability and cash flow.
• Create, maintain, and update projects in SAP.
• Ensure Estimate at Completion (EAC) accuracy for assigned programs.
• Create Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) deliverables, including Formats 1–5 and 7.
• Create and review variance reports with Control Account Manager (CAM) input.
• Create and maintain program baseline budgets for performance measurement.
• Prepare moderately complex proposal cost estimates and pricing data.
• Support internal and external audits for assigned programs.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Requirements

• Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Specialist, Program Finance who enjoys your work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Specialist, Program Finance would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
• Defense industry program finance experience with Earned Value Management reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related analytical field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years with a graduate degree, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4–10 years of experience understanding and applying Earned Value Management concepts and processes.
• 4–10 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with COBRA and SAP.
• Experience with financial management, risk management, work breakdown structures, change management, cost estimating, configuration management, and system surveillance.
• Familiarity with DFARS, ANSI-748-D, EVMIG, and NDIA Intent Guides.
• Knowledge of government contracts such as CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and FFP is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• MBA or CPA is preferred.
• PMP, EVMP, or similar certification is a plus.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum Experience: 6+ years of relevant program finance / financial analysis experience
