HR Technology Analyst at Copeland in Sidney, OH, USA

Job description

• The HR Technology Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Copeland's global HR technology ecosystem, including Workday, UKG/Kronos, ADP and Ceridian Payroll, Xactly, and other related technologies. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure systems operate effectively, data integrity is maintained, and business processes are optimized.
• The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enjoys working across multiple technologies and business functions, and is passionate about leveraging technology to improve the employee experience and operational efficiency. A strong understanding of HR processes, HR technology platforms, and IT delivery practices is essential as well as a willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• HR Technology Support & Administration
• Provide day-to-day support for HR technology applications, including Workday, UKG/Kronos, Xactly, Joiner Mover Leaver (JML), and related systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor application performance and system health to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Coordinate biannual Workday release activities with People Services team and Workday Product Owners.
• Business Process & System Enhancement
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
• Support testing efforts for system updates, enhancements, and new functionality across a variety of HR systems.
• Integration & Data Management
• Monitor inbound and outbound integrations between HR systems and third-party vendors.
• Research and resolve interface and data quality issues with internal teams.
• Validate data accuracy and support ongoing data governance initiatives and auditing.
• Compliance & Controls
• Support SOX controls, audits, and compliance activities related to HR systems.
• Ensure appropriate data privacy and security practices are followed.
• Maintain documentation for key processes, controls, and system configurations.

Requirements

• Required
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of experience supporting HR, payroll, or enterprise business applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating small projects or system enhancements.
• Experience gathering business requirements and documenting solutions.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Workday, UKG/Kronos, ADP Payroll, Xactly, Ceridian Payroll
• Experience supporting system integrations and data interfaces.
• Knowledge of HR, payroll, benefits, and workforce management processes.
• Experience with testing methodologies and change management practices.
• Understanding of audit, compliance, and security controls.
