- The Staff Accountant will support general accounting and financial reporting activities, including ownership of general ledger accounts and month-end close responsibilities.
- Candidates should have experience with financial systems and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Prepare and post various journal entries and reconciliations.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger balances and financial statements.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support audits and financial statement reviews with necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 6-8 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accrual-basis accounting and GAAP.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
