Paid Social Media Specialist at Leadhub in San Antonio, Texas

Job description

• Leadhub is a digital marketing agency focused on growing home service and trades businesses. We're looking for a Social Media Paid Specialist who owns paid social performance and can produce their own creative to feed it. Your core work is building, managing, and optimizing paid social campaigns that generate leads for a portfolio of home service clients. Because paid social lives and dies on creative, you also shoot video and design the ads yourself rather than waiting on someone else, which keeps you fast and self-sufficient. You'll spend most of your time inside Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads, and the rest producing video and graphics in Adobe and Canva. This is an in-office role in San Antonio, because being on-site with the creative team and our equipment is part of how the work gets done. If you do your best work when you own accounts, hit targets, and can also turn around the creative those accounts need, this role is built for you.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong paid social performance across assigned client accounts, including ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rate targets
• Maintain budget pacing accuracy across all assigned accounts
• Produce ad creative, both video and static, on schedule so campaigns always have fresh assets to run
• Keep a steady volume of creative in rotation so campaigns don't fatigue
• Deliver clean, accurate performance reports to the Media team on time
• Flag performance issues early and escalate with supporting data
• Manages day-to-day campaign management across Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads, plus other paid social platforms as needed, for a portfolio of home service clients
• Monitors campaign performance daily, identifies issues, and implements optimizations within established processes and guidelines
• Builds and QAs new campaigns and ad sets according to Leadhub's account structure standards. Accuracy at build is non-negotiable
• Manages audience targeting including lookalikes, interest and behavior targeting, and retargeting
• Sets up and QAs pixel and conversion tracking, and works with the team to protect data integrity across accounts
• Tracks and manages budget pacing across all assigned accounts, flagging variances to the Media Director before they become problems
• Develops and manages a creative testing pipeline, running A/B tests on hooks, formats, and angles to find what performs
• Plans, shoots, and edits short-form video for paid social, including client site visits to capture footage of job sites, teams, and before and after results
• Designs static and carousel ad creative in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva, built to spec for each platform
• Pulls and prepares performance reports for account executives to present to clients. Data needs to be clean, accurate, and ready to use
• Documents campaign changes, tests, and creative performance consistently so account history is always current and accessible
• Stays current on platform updates, ad policies, and creative trends across Meta, TikTok, and emerging channels
• Uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to support daily work including drafting ad copy variations, scripting video, and summarizing performance data. AI supports the work, it does not replace the judgment behind it
• Escalates strategic questions, budget decisions, and performance anomalies to the Media Director with supporting data and a clear description of the issue

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, not just posting organic content
• Deep working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager. TikTok Ads experience is a strong plus
• Strong understanding of paid media performance metrics: ROAS, CPA, CTR, CPM, and conversion rate
• Understanding of pixel setup, custom conversions, and attribution windows
• Experience managing monthly budgets across multiple client accounts simultaneously
• High attention to detail. You catch your own mistakes before anyone else does
• Comfortable working within established processes and account structures. You follow the system and flag it when the system needs updating
• Hands-on videography experience. You can plan, shoot, and edit short-form video for Meta and TikTok without needing a separate producer
• Graphic design experience with working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
• A creative eye for what actually performs. You know the difference between an ad that looks nice and an ad that converts
• Able to manage a high volume of accounts and creative without losing accuracy
• Actively uses AI tools in your day-to-day work and understands where they help and where they need to be checked
• Willing to work in-office in San Antonio and travel to client sites for shoots as needed
• Meta Blueprint certification required or in progress
• Experience in home services, trades, or local service advertising is a plus
